Call for Artists
The Oregon Photographic Society invites photographers to submit work for consideration in the Community Drawer at Blue Sky Gallery.
The Community Drawer is a unique exhibition format that offers an intimate, accessible way to share photographic work with the public. This opportunity is designed to highlight a wide range of voices and approaches, creating space for experimentation, personal storytelling, and community connection.
OPS welcomes submissions from photographers at all stages of their practice. Whether you are sharing work for the first time or continuing a long-term exploration, we encourage thoughtful, authentic submissions that reflect your way of seeing.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to:
Have their work featured in the Community Drawer at Blue Sky Gallery
Share their photography in a respected, artist-centered exhibition space
Participate in a community-focused platform that values accessibility and inclusion
We are committed to making exhibition opportunities approachable and equitable. Selections are based on artistic intent and alignment with the Community Drawer format, not on prior exhibition history or professional status.
Photographers working in all styles and processes are encouraged to apply, including digital, film, experimental, documentary, conceptual, and alternative approaches.
